The rooms are spacious and equipped with air conditioning, which is a lifesaver on a hot day. Nice touch with the fridge stocked with ice and cold water, making for a refreshing arrival after a long drive.
Unfortunately, there were some electrical issues during my stay. I had no hot water, which was quite inconvenient. The mattresses left much to be desired, bordering on uncomfortable due to their age, and the cold and hot water taps were a bit finicky. Check-in is a bit strict, so if you're running late, you may face some challenges getting in. The need for better communication regarding arrival times could enhance the overall experience.

We had a sweet as stay. Rooms were clean, but the carpet stank heaps. Loved the retro vibes and secure parking though!

One simple answer, yes or no?
Impressive hospitality with clean rooms and charming antique decor. The location is perfect, walking distance to great restaurants and easy access to safe parking.
Faded exterior and outdated amenities detract from the overall experience. Minimal kitchen supplies offered in self-catering units.

would absolutely stay here again
Spacious family room with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and big comfy bed. The bathroom had free toiletries and a walk-in shower. Staff were super nice. Restaurants in easy walking distance, and parking was safe. The vibes were warm and welcoming with a great atmosphere overall.
